The Banderos play blues the way they like to play blues and that means with passion, with soul and a lot of good-time fun.

Darren is a Harp Tart, he has played with many other musicians and

featured on many albums. It’s his versatile range of harmonica

playing styles that he uses which lets him keep the audience

interested and engaged. Notably the use of his phrasing and

the gaps that he leave makes him unique. As long as you tell

which key the song is in he is happy.

Garrington T Jones is a performing and recording artist with three

solo albums to his name. He now performs with The Banderos as a vocalist,

guitarist and occasional harmonica and bouzouki player. Garrington is

influenced by the 1960’s British Blues revival and modern day

European and Australian Blues performers.

Zo has been a vocalist and song writer for over 30 years and

organised The Zo Show. A trained vocal coach, Zo runs

Breathfest - raising awareness and funds for COPD and

Farmers Lung. currently Zo is also a member of the A 2 Z duo .

Sam is a Bass guitarist who has no genre preference, he has

played in rock bands from his early teens, writing music and doing

all he can to bring more music into peoples lives. In More recent years

Sam has been focusing on cover bands including Funk, Rock & Blues

which he combines and brings along to The Banderos to give us another

part of our unique sound.

Rob has been playing the drums for over 35 years and

started off by playing with indie rock bands back in the

early 1990's. He enjoys all styles of music and uses a variety of

tools, including brushes, to help compliment the sounds of

The Banderos. Whether ramping things up or calming things

down, Rob is always there keeping the beat.

Worcestershire
